It’s been over three years since I started keto and I still have days when I grab this shirt, throw it on, and smile. So many ups and downs happened between these two pictures. I still struggle from time to time, I still have anxiety, body dysmorphia and can be overly critical and hard on myself. In the world of social media it can be so easy to see so many thing that seem so perfect, so dialed in...and it can make us all feel not good enough. I always have to stop and remind myself to shut down the comparison game. We are all different, and equally valuable. The last few weeks I’ve been struggling with anxiety, but I’ve been working through it and taking on one day at a time. Today I decided to fix my hair, throw on a little make up and get out of the house. While at the mall I met the nicest guy who recognized me from YouTube and it turns out my videos set him on a new path and he lost quite a bit of weight and is feeling so much better. It was such a blessing for me to meet him, and such a great reminder of why I put my heart and life out here. It’s scary sometimes, but it’s so worth it. If you struggle with anxiety, my heart goes out to you...it can feel so overwhelming and endless. Just know you aren’t alone, and things do get better. ❤️ . #ketogenicdiet #ketodiet #keto #weightlossjourney #anxiety #momlife #mom #growthmindset #lowcarb #extremeweightloss #changeispossible #simplyketo

2. @marksissonprimal

Mark Sisson is the creator of The Primal Blueprint, The Keto Reset Diet, Primal Kitchen, and Mark's Daily Apple. He is a 65-year-old with a 21-year-old body. And he credits his incredible health to living a primal/keto lifestyle. Mark is a MUST if you are looking to ditch processed foods and take back your health.

3. @mariaemmerich

Maria Emmerich is a nutritionist who specializes in the ketogenic lifestyle, and author of Quick and Easy Ketogenic Cooking and The 30 Day Ketogenic Cleanse. Maria was diagnosed with PCOS at the young age of 16, and didn't feel comfortable with the medication she was prescribed. So she made the choice to change her diet, and her life completely changed after discovering the direct impact nutrition has had on her health.

4. @halleberry

Halle Berry is the face of the keto diet, hands down. She has been following the keto diet since her early 20s after being diagnosed with diabetes. It’s #FitnessFriday and Boxing is name of the game this week!! #Boxing is still considered one of the best full body workouts. You’ll sculpt every muscle and burn major calories and fat. It dramatically decreases stress levels, develops hand-eye coordination and builds confidence and discipline. But most importantly...you’ll never stop learning. I’ve been boxing for the past 10 years and regularly for the past 3 and I love that I always learn a new way to challenge myself and work new muscles. I challenge you to pick up some boxing gloves and get at it...I promise you’ll have fun, get your heart rate up and sculpt your body at the same time!! Feel free to share your boxing photos with me at #PHITBoxing 🥊❤️#Fitness #Wellness #WorkOut

5. @fooddreamer

Carolyn, writer, recipe developer, and creator of the popular blog, All Day I Dream About Food, is a low-carb artist. She understands that we want pretty (and more importantly, tasty) food, and so, she creates it! From Boston Cream Pie, to Roasted Tomato Bisque, she presents delicious, well-tested recipes that are sure to hit whatever craving your are having. Sweet or savory.

6. @coachkandfenway

Karen Anderson, and her trusty sidekick, Fenway, are on this list because her page is full of all the good things, like health, nutrition and fitness. But one extra quality I love about her is her gumption! Her tell-it-as-it-is personality is so refreshing and needed in the world of picture perfect Instagram. Keep it real with Coach K and Fenway.

7. @ketoguido

Wait, isn't that the guy from Jersey Shore?

Yes, yes it is! Who would've thought Vinny Guadagnino would become such a great keto motivator.

Go check out his Instagram page for his take on the keto lifestyle, as he goes on this journey day by day. His results are self-explanatory.

I’ve discovered the fountain of youth . You ready for it?....Stop eating sugars and grains and instead 98% of the time eat real food like whole eggs, bacon, butter, fatty steaks, fatty fish and plants and exercise a few times a week. When I ate sugars and grains I was 50lbs heavier and looked 10 years older . I look around and feel sad and angry for the majority of the population who are overweight and obese that have been taught to eat grains, use “healthy” margarines and oils, drink diet soda with artificial sweeteners, and stay away from saturated fats. This is why i started this page. To take away the stigma that saturated animal fat clogs your arteries and instead teach people the truth: sugars and grains will cause diseases and obesity before anything else. I bet if our older friends and relatives who suffer from chronic disease stopped eating sugars and grains and started eating real foods , in many cases would drop off their medication ( and not to mention, lose a shit ton of weight NATURALLY) But instead they are taught to eat whatever they want and let the medicine keep the disease in check 🙄.... until the medicine won’t save you anymore .. I’m speaking generally because everyone’s food sensitivity is different , but in most cases this will be the truth. #ketoguido #keto #ketosis

8. @100ketodays

My favorite thing about Alexis is her relatability. We have celebrities and nutritionists on our lists, but Alexis feels like your old high school buddy who looks and feels amazing, and you want her to share all her secrets with you.  She also has a robot vacuum that is named Nessy, and we love it!

Happy #transformationtuesday! I remember this picture on the left, two years ago at the Pitt vs Penn State game. I had nothing to wear, my t shirt was too tight— I didn’t want to wear my hair down bc I knew I’d be too sweaty to look presentable by the time we go in the stadium. Look at those chipmunk cheeks 😳 . Flash forward to this past weekend, wearing a hat bc I felt like it looked cute (and saved me from overheated), wearing clothes that fit, that made me feel good, and feeling good about myself 👍🏻 . If today is day 1 for you let me be the first to say GOOD FOR YOU! Congratulations on putting yourself first. You’ve got this! If you’ve been on a weight loss journey (keto or not) for a while, let me remind you: THIS IS HARD, BUT YOU GOT THIS! . . . . . . . #keto #ketogenic #ketogenicdiet #ketogeniclifestyle #ketosis #ketodiet #ketolife #iifym #flexibledieting #iifymgirls #ifitfitsyourmacros #weightloss #losingweight #weightlossjourney #weightlossmotivation #100ketodays #diet #fitness #workout #instafit #fitnessmotivation #weightlossmotivation
