Blackberry Breakfast Meatballs

Serves 4

 Who would have known there would be a simple yet tasty way to make meatballs, and they're for BREAKFAST!! 

 

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

 

Ingredients:

 1 pound of ground pork

1 teaspoon of sea salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons dried fennel seeds

¼ teaspoon ground cloves

Pinch of ground nutmeg

½ cup parsley, minced

½ cup fresh blackberries, sliced

OPTIONAL:

Bacon

Blackberries

 

Instructions:

 Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 

 In a bowl, mix ground pork, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, minced parsley, fennel seeds, cloves, and nutmeg until well combined.

 Fold in chopped sliced blackberries.

 Form 8 meatballs with your hands and place on an oven-proof skillet or baking sheet.

 Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, flipping after 10 minutes. 

 Serve with optional bacon and additional blackberries.
