Apple Butter

The flavors of Fall are upon us with this recipe for Apple Butter. Apples are naturally sweet, so no added sugar is necessary in this super delicious spread that tastes amazing with a grilled pork chop, on top of a Keto pancake or licked right off the spoon!

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
1 pound of Gala apples, cored & chopped
¼ cup purified water
¼ cup raw apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a saucepan and simmer until very soft, about 10 minutes.

Transfer to a blender and blend on high speed until it resembles apple sauce.

Return to the saucepan and continue to simmer until it has thickened and is dark in color.

Serve between 16, storing any leftovers in sealed jar for up to 2 weeks.
