Warm and comforting, cheesy and topped with crisp bacon, this skillet meal will satisfy your body’s need for protein and fat and keep you in ketosis, meaning, you will feel amazing after eating this!

2 slices of bacon
1 medium yellow onion, peeled & diced
3 garlic cloves, peeled & minced
1 pound of ground beef
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 6-ounce can of tomato paste
14 ounces of plain cream cheese
1 cup shredded Mexican cheese
Preheat your oven’s broiler.
Add bacon to a large cast-iron skillet. and bring to medium-low heat. Cook until the bacon is crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon and set on a plate lined with a napkin and when cool enough to touch, crumble to use later.
In the same cast-iron skillet with the bacon grease, add the diced onion and minced garlic and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
Add the ground beef and season with sea salt and cook, breaking up with a wood spoon or spatula, until the beef has browned, about 10 minutes.
Stir in tomato paste and cream cheese until very creamy.
Top with shredded cheese and transfer to your oven’s broiler and allow the cheese to fully melt and bubble. This will take about 3-5 minutes (check after 3 minutes to ensure your cheese does not burn).
Remove from the oven and top with crumbled bacon.
