Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes   




2 cups almond flour

6 tablespoons cacao powder

½ teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon sea salt

½ cup butter, softened

½ cup Keto-friendly sweetener such as monk fruit

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


2 cups Keto confectioners’ sugar

½ cup butter, softened

2 tablespoons plain & unsweetened almond milk

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2 packets of Real Ketones Black Cherry Shift  

Optional Garnish

Maraschino cherries 



Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.


1. Mix almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and sea salt and in one bowl set aside.


2. Cream butter and monk fruit together with an electric mixer in a separate bowl. Add in eggs and vanilla extract and mix together well.


3. Gently mix both bowls together until well-combined.


4. Fill a cupcake tin lined with paper or silicone liners 2/3 full.  Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick pierced in each center comes out clean.


5. While cupcakes are baking, prepare your frosting by mixing all frosting ingredients together until very creamy.

6. Remove cupcakes from the oven and place on a cooling rack to cool completely before frosting and topping with optional maraschino cherries. 


Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
