Whoa! We took two beloved ingredients, chocolate and cheese, and created the most delicious treat for Christmas! Every square is equally sweet and savory, melting in your mouth with the perfect amount of crunch from a dash of sprinkles!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes + time to cool
1 large egg
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 ounces plain cream cheese
¼ cups coconut flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups Keto dark chocolate chips
4 tablespoons butter
Prepare your dough by preheating your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Melt shredded cheese and cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl and stir very well to combine.
Mix 1 egg, coconut flour and baking powder in a large mixing bowl, making sure there are no clumps.
Pour in melted cheese and stir well to combine. You can also use a food processor to combine the melted cheese and flour mixture more easily. Pulse until a dough has formed.
Place dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with another piece of parchment paper and roll flat so that it is ¼” thick. Remove and discard the top layer of parchment paper.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden.
While dough is baking, prepare your chocolate by melting Keto chocolate chips and butter in a small saucepan on low heat or in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir often so that the chocolate does not burn.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before spreading melted chocolate mixture over the dough and garnishing with sprinkles.
Allow the chocolate to cool completely before slicing into 16 squares.
Store any leftovers in a glass container for up to 7 days.
