Makes 16 cookies
Who doesn’t love the classic flavor of orange and cream? These cookies remind us of our childhood, but don’t send our blood sugar to a spike and crash!
Prep Time: 10 minutes + 40 minutes to freeze & thaw
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
1 cup almond flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
⅓ cup Keto brown sugar
1 packet of Real Ketones Orange Blast Lean for Life powder
1 large egg
½ cup Keto white chocolate chips
Mix almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, and fine sea salt in a bowl and set aside.
Add butter and Keto brown sugar to the bowl of an electric mixer, and mix on medium speed for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, mix in egg and the packet of Real Ketones Orange Blast Lean for Life powder. Add the almond flour mixture and mix for 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Transfer the batter to the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove and let thaw for 10 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350 F (180 C).
Scoop 1 tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Do not flatten the cookies, they will flatten on their own as they bake.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the edges have begun to brown. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking tray, do not transfer to a wire rack.
Serve between 16, storing any leftovers in an airtight container on the countertop for 1 week.
