French Onion Dip with Spicy Nacho Cheese Keto Chips

We sauteed our onions up in a hint of balsamic and coconut aminos to make them extra savory in this classic French Onion Dip recipe. Keep plenty of our Spicy Nacho Cheese chips ready to serve this with and everyone will be happy!

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

1 tablespoon ghee or butter
1 medium yellow onion, peeled & sliced
3 garlic cloves, peeled & minced
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon coconut aminos
2 cups full-fat sour cream
4 tablespoons plain cream cheese
1 teaspoons sea salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
2 bags of Real Ketones Spicy Nacho Cheese Chips


Heat ghee or butter up in a skillet set to medium-low heat. Sauté onion and garlic in balsamic vinegar and coconut aminos until soft and caramelized, about 15 minutes.

Mix remaining ingredients except chips in a bowl and set in the fridge to keep chilled.

When onions are done, allow to completely cool before chopping half of them and stirring in the dip, then using the rest of them as a garnish.

Store any leftovers in a glass container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
