Prep Time: 5 minutes
Baking Time: 25 minutes
1 small head of green cabbage, sliced in 1” rounds
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 pre-made beer brats (or plain brats)
½ cup low-carb beer
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Arrange cabbage rounds on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle olive oil over each cabbage round and sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika and garlic powder.
Bake in the oven until it begins to brown, about 25 minutes.
While cabbage is baking, add beer brats and low-carb beer to a cast-iron skillet set to medium heat.
Sauté brats until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
Remove from the skillet and garnish with yellow mustard.
Serve between 2, with cabbage rounds, storing any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
