Keto Black Cherry Danishes

These Danishes are perfectly crisp, sweet, and satisfying right out of the oven. We’ve filled them with our Black Cherry D-BHB Ketones to increase their sweet, tart flavor that we know you will love!
1 cup almond flour
3 tablespoons coconut flour
2 teaspoons xanthan gum
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons raw apple cider vinegar
3 teaspoons water (as needed)
1 egg, beaten (for glaze, not for the dough)
Optional: 2 tablespoons Keto sweetener such as monk fruit crystals
Black Cherry Filling:
6 tablespoons butter, softened
3 tablespoons Keto-friendly confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 packets of Real Ketones Black Cherry D-BHB Ketones
2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
Pulse the dry dough ingredients in a food processor until well-combined. Slowly add in the wet ingredients (but not the egg), with the water last, and only as needed, 1 teaspoon at a time, until a firm ball of dough has formed. Knead it for a few minutes with your hands to ensure it is thoroughly mixed together. Place in the fridge, covered so that it doesn’t dry out, to chill for 10 minutes or up to 3 days.
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment or wax paper and roll out flat with a rolling pin. Divide into 2 rectangles. One piece will be the bottom of the Danish, the other will be the top.
Mix the filling ingredients together very well and spread evenly over one piece of the dough. Carefully place the top piece of dough over the filling and secure the edges with your fingers. Use a knife to create 6 individual Danishes, and secure all of the edges with your fingers. Optionally, you can create slits on the tops of each Danish. Sprinkle optional Keto sweetener such as monk fruit crystals on the tops for extra texture.
Brush with the egg, and bake in the oven for 18-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden in color. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve between 6, storing any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
