We love being able to grab one of these tasty cabbage and sausage-filled lettuce leaves easily when we need a bite of protein and fat. Packed with flavor and just the right amount of crunch, these are perfect to whip up and share with loved ones.

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons ghee or butter
1 Polish or banger sausage, sliced in ½” thick pieces
2 cups shredded green cabbage
1 teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
6 butter lettuce leaves
1 whole scallion, minced
Instructions:
Heat a skillet with ghee or butter to medium heat.
Sauté sausage slices until browned, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
Add cabbage, sea salt, black pepper and garlic powder to the skillet and sauté until wilted and browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Arrange lettuce leaves on a platter.
Fill each lettuce leaf with a scoop of fried cabbage and sliced sausage, garnishing with some minced scallion.
Serve with your favorite Keto-friendly sauce, such as mayonnaise and mustard, storing any leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
