Keto Italian Sausage Meatballs

These meatballs combine ground pork with pre-made Italian sausage so all you need to do is mix them together and add a few simple spices with basil and you’ve got yourself a seriously tasty meal! We used convenient jarred marinara sauce to keep this recipe ultra-fast and easy, we know you’re going to enjoy!

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

1 Italian pork sausage link (or 4 ounces), casings removed & minced
2 ounces ground pork
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried fennel seeds
½ teaspoon dried smoked paprika
¼ cup fresh basil leaves, minced
2 cups marinara sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil


Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a bowl, mix meatball ingredients until well-combined. Form into 4 large meatballs.

Bake in a cast-iron skillet in the oven until fully cooked through, about 10 minutes per side. After flipping sides, pour marinara sauce and olive oil in the cast-iron and allow to heat up with the meatballs.

Remove from the oven and serve between 2, saving any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
