Keto Maple Pecan Breakfast Bowl

You don’t have to eliminate cereal from your diet when you are keeping it Keto, just make this recipe for grain-free cereal! This recipe is nutrient and flavor-dense. It has the consistency or hearty oatmeal without the carbs!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
Cereal:
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
2 tablespoons dried & unsweetened shredded coconut
2 tablespoons hemp seeds
Pinch of sea salt
1 cup plain & unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Garnishes:
1 tablespoon chopped pecans
2 tablespoons fresh or frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon Keto maple syrup
Instructions:
Add all cereal ingredients to a saucepan and whisk together well. Let sit and thicken for 10 minutes.
Place on the stove and set to medium-low heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring often, until soft and thick. You can add more water to thin it if desired. Start with 1 tablespoon and repeat until it is your desired consistency.
Remove from the heat and pour into a serving bowl.
Garnish with chopped pecans, blueberries and Keto maple syrup.
Serve immediately, or in the fridge in an airtight container until ready to serve, for up to 5 days.
You can enjoy this recipe reheated or cold.
