Keto Onion Rings

Serves 4

These onion rings are baked in nutty almond flour seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic powder and dried oregano, get ready to be making them all the time, we know you’re going to love them!

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
2 medium yellow onions, peeled & sliced in ½” thick slices
2 large eggs
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place onion slices on a plate.

Crack eggs and whisk in a shallow bowl.

Mix almond flour, parmesan cheese, sea salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder and dried oregano in another shallow bowl and set next to the bowl with eggs.

Dip onion slices in the egg, then in the almond flour mixture, until the onion slices are completely coated by the almond flour mixture.

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and brush with olive oil.

Bake for 20 minutes, checking after 15 to prevent burning.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite Keto dipping sauces.

Store any leftovers in a glass container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
