Tis the season to enjoy all things pumpkin! We’ve combined two of our favorite flavors, dark chocolate and pure pumpkin, in this recipe for brownies. Our Chocolate Shift powder amps up the health benefits in each bite of holiday goodness!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20-22 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup Keto dark chocolate chips
1 cup almond flour
¼ cup cacao powder
1 packet of Real Ketones Chocolate Shift D-BHB Ketone Powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
¼ teaspoon baking soda
⅓ cup Keto maple syrup
2 large eggs, room temperature
¼ cup canned pumpkin puree + 2 tablespoons
⅓ cup coconut oil, melted
¼ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
Line an 8x8” baking pan with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
Set aside 2 tablespoons of the Keto dark chocolate chips. Melt the remaining chocolate chips in a glass dish in the microwave on 30-second intervals, stirring in-between intervals until fully melted.
Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl (almond flour, cacao powder, Real Ketones Chocolate Shift powder, sea salt, pumpkin pie spice and baking powder) and the wet ingredients in another (melted Keto dark chocolate chips, Keto maple syrup, eggs, pumpkin puree and coconut oil). Stir together until well-combined, then fold in the chopped walnuts.
Pour the batter in the baking pan lined with parchment paper. Spoon the 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree throughout the batter and then stir in with a butter knife so that it swirls around. Sprinkle the 2 tablespoons of Keto dark chocolate chips on top of the batter.
Bake in the oven for 20-22 minutes or until the middle of the batter is set. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into 16 squares.
Serve between 16, storing any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Enjoy!
