Keto Strawberry French Toast
Everyone loves a fancy French toast for brunch, and this recipe is just the ticket for keeping it Keto! Bursting with fresh flavor from strawberries, if you cannot find fresh, swap them for frozen!

1 cup of heavy whipping cream
2 large eggs
2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Keto granulated sweetener (Any sugar free sweetener of your choice)
Pinch of sea salt
Pinch of ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
8 teaspoons butter for frying pan
8 slices of Keto bread
8 teaspoons butter for serving
2 cups fresh strawberries, tops removed & sliced
½ cup Keto maple syrup
Whisk heavy whipping cream, large eggs, pure vanilla extract, Keto sweetener, sea salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
Heat a skillet on the stove to medium heat. When hot, add about a teaspoon of butter to the skillet and allow to coat the whole skillet.
Dip a piece of bread in the cream mixture and flip so that each side is evenly coated in the mixture.
Fry in the pan, sprinkling with optional additional cinnamon, until it is golden, about 2 minutes per side. Flip, and fry the other side.
Repeat this process until you have fried each piece of keto bread.
Serve your French toast with butter, strawberries and Keto maple syrup.
Serve between 4, storing any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
