Serves 2
Our version of a matcha boba beverage is made with clean, whole foods, and receives its sweetness from our Caffeinated Mixed Berry D-BHB powder. Cheers to this morning, or afternoon pick-up!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Ingredients:
2 cups ice-cubes
2 teaspoons matcha powder
½ cup hot water (175 F or 79 C)
½ cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries, melted
1 packet of Real Ketones Caffeinated Mixed Berry D-BHB powder
Instructions:
Brew the matcha tea by placing matcha powder in a small bowl. Slowly pour hot water over the powder, and whisk gently, but vigorously, until all of the powder is absorbed in the water. A bamboo matcha whisk is traditionally used for this process, but you can also use a regular whisk. Set the matcha tea aside.
Prepare the blueberry “boba” by mixing the melted blueberries with the Real Ketones Caffeinated Mixed Berry powder. This is done easily in a small mixing bowl. Pour equal amounts of the blueberry mixture into 2 serving glasses.
Fill each serving glass with 1 cup of ice-cubes.
Pour equal amounts of the matcha tea over the ice-cubes, followed by equal amounts of the heavy whipping cream.
Place a straw (the wider the better to sip the blueberries) in each glass.
Serve immediately between 2.
Enjoy!
