These chicken tenders are sautéed in ghee or butter, then seasoned and finished with more ghee or butter and some olive oil, making them the most delicious and satisfying bites of lean protein that we’ve ever had! If you can’t find smoked paprika, traditional paprika is also tasty, a teaspoon of dried turmeric is also wonderful in this dish.

4 tablespoons ghee or butter
½ yellow onion, peeled & chopped
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 pound of boneless & skinless chicken tenders, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon coconut aminos
Heat 1 of the 4 tablespoons of ghee or butter in a skillet set to medium heat.
Add chopped onion, sea salt, black pepper and smoked paprika and sauté until the onion is soft about 5 minutes.
Add chopped chicken tenders and continue to sauté on low heat until the chicken is completely cooked through, about 15 minutes.
Turn off the heat and add in the remaining 3 tablespoons of ghee or butter, olive oil and coconut aminos and stir until it has melted.
Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
