Strawberry Tanghulu with Watermelon Shift

Cheers to this Keto candy recipe, inspired by a Northern China favorite. We added our Watermelon Shift to give this recipe even more unique, sweet flavor! 


Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes 



1 cup (Any sugar free sweetener of your choice)

½ cup water

1 pound of fresh strawberries

1 packet of Real Ketones Watermelon Shift


Add (Any sugar free sweetener of your choice) and water to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Let it boil for about 10-15 minutes, or until it reaches 300 F (149 C).

While the sweetener is boiling, prepare the strawberry sticks by patting the strawberries dry and threading them on bamboo sticks. Use a few strawberries for longer sticks and 1-2 strawberries for shorter sticks. 

When the sweetener and water is ready, turn off the heat and stir in the Real Ketones Watermelon Shift. Dip each threaded strawberry into the sweetener, until it is fully coated.

Place on a plate lined with parchment paper with room in between each strawberry so that they do not stick together when they have cooled. Repeat until you have coated all of the strawberries.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
