Warm Chocolate Cobbler (RK Products)

Serves 8

This chocolate cake bakes as three separate layers and comes out of the oven moist and gooey, we can’t think of a more decadent dessert!

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:
Keto Caramel:
½ cup heavy whipping cream
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Pinch of fine sea salt
¼ cup Keto granulated brown sugar, such as monk fruit
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Cake Batter (Bottom Layer):
½ cup Keto granulated sugar, such as monk fruit
¾ cup almond flour
⅓ cup cocoa powder
2 packets of Real Ketones Chocolate Prime Shift D-BHB
¾ teaspoon baking powder
¾ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon fine sea salt
1 large egg
½ cup plain & unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Cake Coffee Mixture (Top Layer):
¼ cup Keto granulated brown sugar, such as monk fruit
1 packet of Real Ketones Chocolate Prime Shift D-BHB
1 ½ cups brewed hot coffee
¼ cup Keto Caramel (see above)
Garnishes:
Keto whipped cream
Keto Caramel Sauce

Instructions:

Prepare the Keto Caramel Sauce. Place all ingredients in a saucepan on the stove and bring to a simmer for 5-10 minutes, whisking often. It will thicken as it simmers, and even more when it has cooled. When done simmering, turn off the stove heat and set aside to use in the cake later.

Preheat the oven to 350 F (176 C).

Grease an 8-inch cake pan and pour half of the Keto Caramel Sauce in the pan. Spread it around.

Mix all of the Cake Batter (Bottom Layer) until well-combined. Pour it over the caramel.

Prepare the Cake Coffee Mixture (Top Layer) by mixing the Keto brown sugar, Real Ketones Chocolate Prime Shift D-BHB, and brewed coffee until well-combined. Pour it over the Cake Batter (Bottom Layer). Do not mix the layers.

Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. The batter will rise to the top of the cake.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Serve between 8, garnishing with whipped cream and additional Keto Caramel Sauce, storing any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
