Grilled cheeses remain one of our favorite sandwiches, so we are excited to share this recipe for a Keto Grilled Cheese. To make this extra creamy, slather a layer of mayonnaise on the insides of your bread. We love this on its own and also with a side of our Keto Tomato Soup!

Cooking Time: 50-55 minutes
Ingredients:
2 slices of Real Ketones Keto Bread recipe
1 tablespoon butter, softened
1 ounce of extra sharp cheddar cheese
1 ounce of pepperjack cheese
Instructions:
Butter the outsides of two slices of Keto bread.
Layer one slice of bread with cheese and top with the second piece of bread.
Fry in a skillet on the stove set to medium-low heat until golden brown on each side, about 1-3 minutes per side.
Remove from the heat and serve immediately.

Keto Tomato Soup
Serves 4
This creamy tomato soup is based on a childhood classic that we remember so well. We kept our recipe simple, using just a few ingredients to capture the flavor we all love so much.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter
¼ cup diced onion
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 14.5-ounce can of tomato sauce
½ cup of vegetable broth
1 tablespoon of Keto-friendly sweetener (we used Swerve)
¼ cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
Add butter to a medium pot and bring to medium-low heat.
Add onions and season with sea salt and black pepper. Saute until soft, about 5 minutes.
Add canned tomato sauce and vegetable broth and sweetener and reduce heat to a simmer for 5 minutes.
Transfer to a blender, add heavy whipping cream and blend on high-speed until very creamy.
Serve between 4, storing any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
